"This is the first in a new series of beautifully packaged, hand-assembled gatefold 7" releases from boutique imprint Sonic Pieces. Piece One (Depart Release') comes from Slowdive member and noted electronic producer in his own right, Simon Scott. He delivers a heartfelt track recorded at Nils Frahm's Durton studio in Berlin in winter time. Sung and played by him on guitar, augmented by Nils Frahm on piano, synth and glockenspiel, it is 300 copies only. Do not miss!
