roel funcken Two Rooms was recorded in the basement of an aging office building in downtown Portland. Captured using two microphones placed on either end of a long concrete room, while Jones + Fischer, along with their instruments and amplifiers, performed in an adjacent room, the four pieces flow together as one seamless album. The resulting sound is lush, warm and cavernous while still remaining intimate at times. Favorite track: Three.
